The Simple Things

In every gardener there is a child who believes in The Seed Fairy. ~Robert Brault

So. The power of the list is working. Busy day here at Crabtree Cottage. Work this morning, homework this evening and then while  the eldest was at her drama class I managed  to plant some seeds and sow some more vegetables. I’m no gardener so fingers crossed they grow. I love watching them sprout and grow, it adds a sense of wonder and awe to my day. It really is the simple things.

Sitting with a cup of tea I decided that hanging on to the lovely Question and Answer a Day Journal until the new year was just plain silly…….caution was thrown to the wind and I started in the middle ………….something that I was really loath to do. I’ve had the journal since March……another feeling the fear but doing it anyway moment.

I’m off to watch a little T.V. and do a bit of knitting. I’ll leave you with a quote from R.J. Palacio’s 365 Days of Wonder –

I’m hoping to be as zenned out as the dog in no time!

The Author

I'm living on the Leitrim border with my lovely husband and two terrific kids. It's the little piece of heaven that I dreamed of growing up. I work in Adult Education by day and during my free time I read, write, knit, plant and bake not always in that order. I blog about life, love, family and everything in between. Pull up a chair and have a browse while you're here. All the best, Karen
